Today, in historic garden preservation, the protection of the surrounding area is essential. Due to urban expansion, the link between the garden and its surrounding landscape is increasingly threatened. The aim of this event is to highlight, via national and international examples, the importance of this environment in the preservation of historic gardens, to approach potential risks and to put forward possible solutions.
