Visited sites and dreamed landscapes
Within the framework of the exhibition organised in his honour by Le Mobilier National, Richard Peduzzi invites us to discuss scenography, the decorative arts and landscapes on stage. This exchange with specialists in the history of urban planning and landscape creation for theatre aims at spurring new outlooks on the interactions between urban and staged landscapes in Richard Peduzzi’s visual and scenographic creations.
It offers a journey through the cities that have inspired his creations and the sites in which his work has taken shape, be it as a creator or director. But most importantly, an exploration into mental landscapes and imagined lands into which his work delves the visitor throughout the exhibition, somewhere between dreams and memories.
