The garden as a source of history : Roman gardens

The aim of this international day is to explore history through the nature of gardens and their structures. The ancient garden will be treated as a source of history, because – in a way – it can be likened to an unwritten document on the relationship between man and nature, describing how this relationship has changed over the course of history.
