This conference is associated with the ongoing ArtCim (2024 – 2026) research project, focusing on the characterisation and restoration of rock gardens and rustic garden decoration.

Over a day devoted to conferences, then a day for visits, the aims of the event are to dress a transdisciplinary inventory of knowledge of this little-known heritage: its history, inventory, restoration studies, national and internation know-how, and to present recent advances made possible thanks to the ArtCim project.
