Historic tree alleys: reconquering landscape and biodiversity

Tree alleys – these age-old landscaped structures that adorn our rural and urban territories – are under pressure. Initiatives, from various sources, to save and renew them are multiplying. This one-day conference will offer an insight into their function and into changes in their management over the years, encouraging discussion based on examples of historic tree alleys and concrete experience of projects that have enabled them to be preserved in France and abroad.
