Remarkable trees: from biology to traditions
They can be very old or of extreme dimensions; they can convey the history of France or a legend: they are remarkable trees.
Over a tour of the most extraordinary among these exceptional trees, Georges Feterman takes you on a journey through the oldest traditions or the most recent discoveries in biology and genetics.
Georges Feterman is a qualified professor in the natural sciences and is Chairman of the A.R.B.R.E.S. association (Remarkable trees: inventory, research, study and preservation). Author of a number of books, he is delighted to present his latest publication, ‘Les arbres les plus remarquables de France’ (The most remarkable trees of France) published by Albin Michel.
