Cultivons notre jardin – Italy
Let’s cultivate our garden
A new cycle of debates on Franco-Italian ideas
Thirty-two Franco-Italian encounters on the future of our cities faced with today’s environmental urgencies, in direct partnership with universities and the leading Italian festivals and debate venues in 11 cities: Mantua, Rome, Bologna, Turin, Ferrara, Naples, Florence, Palermo, Bari, Genoa and Milan. A total of 135 French and Italian speakers – urban planners, architects, landscapers, biologists, philosophers, sociologists, artists and politicians have been invited by the French Institute in Italy to reflect together on the contribution of these projects towards reducing pollution, protecting biodiversity, improving landscape, health, well-being and social cohesion. All with the same deep-felt conviction: the necessity to invent a development model that takes account of man’s interaction with nature.
