Italia giardino del mondo. Where Nature meets Art, Craft and Design – Trévise (Italie)
Focusing on seven themes (landscape, drawing, water, botany, art, sociality and knowledge), this exhibition proposes a journey through the history of Italian gardens, from the Renaissance to the contemporary period. Richly enhanced by old maps, photographs, botanic drawings and works of art, it offers a finely illustrated discovery of this extraordinary heritage boasting private villas and gardens, public parks and contemporary installations.
The exhibition is organised by the Italian ministry of foreign affairs and international cooperation, in partnership with the Parks and Gardens of Italy Association (APGI), the Fondo Ambiente Italiano (FAI) and Grandi Giardini Italiani.
