The Poetics of the Garden, encounter with Marco Martella
Via the evocation of gardens and of poets who, like Philippe Jaccottet, Chateaubriand, Hermann Hesse and Vita Sackville-West, explored the question of landscape and the relationship between poetry and nature, Marco Martella offers a reflection on the role played by gardens in modernity. He will enlighten us on the reasons that spur man to cultivate plots of land destined to become ‘little worlds, perfect worlds’.
