Plantes Plaisirs Passions – La Roche-Guyon (France)
Theme for the 2018 edition: The hidden virtues of plants
Nursery gardeners, aromatic plant producers, botanists, etc. are all interested in the benefits offered by the plants in our gardens, vegetable plots and forests. Which plants can heal? How can we harvest them? Can we associate certain plants for improved efficacy? How do we process them to extract their benefits? What disorders can be treated with plants? Mini-conferences and workshops will shed light on these questions and on the hidden virtues of plants. Encounters with authors are also on the agenda. The botanist Marc Jeanson, who manages the National Herbarium at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris and Stéphane Marie and Dany Sautot, co-authors of the Herbier de Gherardo Cibo (published by Chêne), will be signing their work. And, as for previous editions, a plant sale will be organised.
