History of old and modern gardens
Based on a precious work published in 1887, we will demonstrate how the author describes gardens, be they mythical, religious or real. The conference will present fine engravings offering an insight into how these spaces were imagined in the late 19th century. It will also offer the public an immersive delve into the ongoing exhibition at the castle, entitled ‘Poètes au jardin’ (Poets in the garden).
