Bénédicte Leclerc
Bénédicte Leclerc is a DPLG certified architect and historian. Graduated from the Schools of Architecture in Nancy, then Strasbourg, and from the EHESS (Graduate School of Social Science) in Paris, she began her career as a research engineer, analysing the history of urban form, before studying gardens as an ingredient of urban planning, based on work by the conservator of the promenades of Paris, Jean Claude Nicolas Forestier (1861-1930). She has given a number of conferences on landscape and urban history in the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries and has organised scientific symposiums in France and abroad. She is currently in charge of an international information network for landscape researchers. She was commissioner of the Paris-Paysages exhibition organised by the City of Paris from the 25th of May to the 4th of November 2013 in Bagatelle.
