Be they historic or contemporary, gardens have become a major societal challenge for an increasingly demanding audience, in particular in urban areas where they crystalise the relationship between man and his environment. In town, the idea to (re)connect the citizen with Nature is a matter of many paradoxes. How can we harmoniously combine usage, user expectations, regulations, maintenance and management? And what nature are we talking about?
