Gardens have been part of monastic culture since the Middle Ages. This colloquium, focusing on German monasteries, will be held in the Benedictine monastery at Kremsmünster, founded in 777. The event is organised by the Austrian association of historic gardens (Österreichische Gesellschaft für historische Gärten).
