From the Garden of Eden to the King’s Kitchen Garden in Versailles, from Saint Fiacre to The Watered Waterer, from babies in Offenbach’s King Carrot’s cabbages, the exhibition offers an insight into the vegetable garden via original and sometimes amusing views on an area where serenity rubs shoulders with hard work.
