Le plan de renaturation du territoire de la Ville de Rouen / enjeu de transition écologique by Julien GAMBIER GOOSSENS – Archives du Calvados
The renaturation plan for the City of Rouen / a challenge for ecological transition
For the past 2 years, the city of Rouen has engaged in a vast renaturation plan. But what is renaturation? The aim is to strive towards fighting against global warming in our cities, by encouraging biodiversity. This challenge is all the more pertinent in the city of Rouen where temperatures can reach 43°C in the shade. Planting, developing green, blue, brown and black grids… the entire project is also the subject of a plan to increase citizen awareness. Transformation of the urban fabric is now at the heart of public policies.
