Heritage Thursdays
The cycle of conferences entitled ‘Les Jeudis du Patrimoine’ (Heritage Thursdays), organised by the Centre-Val de Loire Regional Cultural Affairs Directorate (DRAC) since 2009, satisfies the dual aim to valorise professions through interventions by specialists, curators, academics, architects and restorers, and to focus on a specific theme – for example on history, history of art or history of techniques.
The theme chosen for 2020, ‘Parks and gardens in the Centre-Val de Loire region’ will approach subjects associated with the history of parks and gardens via recent discoveries and case studies.
