Quels jardins pour la ville d’aujourd’hui? – Lausanne (Switzerland)
What gardens for today’s towns and cities?
Through contributions by different specialists, the aim will be to grasp how landscape art can be used as an urban planning tool. Gardens and green areas can act like laboratories to offer answers to today’s urban challenges: climatic change, new usage, new consumer habits. How can we design public areas likely to stimulate social links, to reinforce the sense of belonging and to favour relaxation or even to improve our knowledge of nature?
