A pioneer in the development of her profession in France, Laure Quoniam is also an artist. She has lived in the Jordanne Valley for several years.
And intense is indeed the perfect word to describe her landscaping creations in France and abroad. She ‘builds pictures from space’, and designs landscape development like a creation per se, a poetic act above all, rather than a simple accompaniment to an architectural setting.
This exhibition will offer visitors an extensive overview of major works in heritage sites, urban areas, and in public or private parks and gardens.
The event’s scenography is in the form of a journey through films, photographs, a slide show, sketch books and personal paintings, each step of the way unveiling Laure Quoniam’s artistic approach and her views on our landscapes.
