The box tree moth and the decline of boxwood: review and solutions
Mark Jones will talk of the problems associated with two pandemics that are currently of particular concern to owners of boxwood: the box tree moth and cylindrocladium buxicola (diagnosis, biological solutions, chemical solutions, precautions, review, ongoing research…).
Originally from the world of finance, Mark Jones has been producing boxwood for over twenty years. He is the owner of Les Buis de Beausséré, a market garden located in the Vexin area and totally devoted to boxwood cultivation. He has developed a genuine passion for this plant – a passion that has taken him to the finest historic gardens, where he has repaired borders, flower beds, topiaries… or has recreated them with the greatest attention to detail. A self-taught boxwood specialist, Mark Jones has developed and enhanced his skills and know-how over the years.
