What European policies favour landscape and garden heritage ?

Whilst, over the centuries, landscapes have proven to be one of the (historic, cultural and political) markers of the European continent, gardens – an integral feature of these landscapes – offer us a privileged insight into the former.
This international and multidisciplinary colloquium will strive to dress an inventory of various initiatives, experiences, and political and institutional policies regarding gardens and landscapes at European level.
The event will open with a conference by the landscaper Gilles Clément, to be continued, on 25 and 26 April with exchange between researchers and professionals from the field of garden and landscape.
