Landscape on the scale of the hand with François VADEPIED

Inaugural cycle of landscape contractors’ conferences, hosted by Marc Claramunt, director of education at the ÉSAJ school of garden architecture. The cycle will be organised throughout the 2024-2025 academic year, within the Césure – an emblematic site housing the ÉSAJ.

François Vadepied is a DPLG qualified landscaper who graduated in 2007 from the ENSP (National School of Landscape Architecture – Versailles). He co-founded the Wagon Landscaping agency in 2010, advocating an open project process through active dialogue with technical services, local inhabitants, neighbours involved in development, schools, training centres and rehabilitation organisations. The agency earned the title of ‘Agency of the year’ within the context of the LILA2024 landscape award, organised by the Landezine magazine. He has worked as a State landscaping adviser since 2018 for the Meurthe-et-Moselle DDT (Departmental Territory Directorate). Since 2020, he has also worked as a lecturer in landscaping projects at the ÉSAJ in Paris.
