From Pavement to Plants, the Garden Museum’s first Urban Greening Symposium, we will explore how to improve streetscapes though planting, and look at the impact such interventions have on the environment and those who use it.
During the day, expect to hear from the people behind some of the most the largest and most complex projects in London, learn what other cities are doing and what the future might look like for the UK, and have the opportunity to work and network with others, during two practical seminars exploring the hidden challenges of urban greening and the importance winning people over with good maintenance, in the months and years after the initial investment.
