Vegetable plants in vogue

The exhibition draws inspiration from illustrations published in 1925 in Les Plantes potagères by Vilmorin-Andrieux, bearing witness to the great wealth of vegetable plant varieties grown over the centuries. Some have fallen into oblivion; others have evolved, but all of them have shaped our modern diet. The aim? To demonstrate how traditional and modern varieties can coexist in mutual harmony and offer a response to modern challenges: climate adaptation, food diversity and nutritional value.
