One-day conference on the work of the landscape architect and gardener, Eduard Petzold

Eduard Petzold, essentially focusing on the development and maintenance of landscaped parks. Eduard Petzold sought inspiration in the elements observed over his many travels, creating several landscaped parks, particularly in the Netherlands. In contrast with many other landscape architects, Eduard Petzold’s legacy includes many of his writings on subjects such as his theory on design and on colours. By redeveloping parks and gardens previously designed by landscape architects such as JD Zocher Jr, his work offers improved understanding of the latter’s work.

Hosted in the Twickel Estate, this one-day event will focus in particular on the preservation, restoration and practical management of these parks and gardens.
